We don't have a book fair at my school, but I do live right around the corner from Scholastic - and the seconds store. I have to stop myself from buying EVERYTHING!!
My husband tells me we have enough books for our own children's library - so yes, I buy LOTS of books! I buy anything I think the kids will like. And sometimes, I buy books for me too! :)
I remember loving the book fair as a kid, and I still absolutely love the book fair!! I always try to buy picture books that I can teach with, and sometimes just fun read alouds!!
I don't buy a lot from the book fair because the prices tend to be a lot higher, but I spend a lot every month on Scholastic's book orders - I spent over $75 this month.
