Monday Made It! with a FREEBIE and a GIVEAWAY!

It's time for Monday Made It with Tara over at 4th Grade Frolics. Today's Made It's range from milestones to products and to technology fun.

I MADE IT into one of the Teacher's Notebook Back to School Sale Product Bundles. Well, I didn't make it; one of my products made it... I made a Prezi! I have wanted to conquer this presentation tool since I first saw it early last school year. However, during the school year there is little time to tackle involved projects... You know what I mean! Last week I decided it was Prezi time. Using the online guides, faq's, and a couple of YouTube tutorials I managed to "conquer" a Prezi. I developed a Common Core Aligned Prezi to accompany Underground by Jean Ferris for my eighth grade English students. This was one of the novels that they had been assigned to read over the summer (not chosen by me). By Common Core Aligned I am referring to incorporating informational text with literary text, responding with textual details, and doing close reading. among other standards. Here is what I made...

I MADE IT into my classroom... FINALLY! My bulletin boards are basically done, the tables and chairs are arranged, the bookcases and other miscellaneous furnishings are in place. I still have to sort through my wasteland of a desk, set up all the computers, and do some general last minute straightening/rearranging until it's JUST right... perhaps a tour later in the week?!?!

I also made a few new mystery pictures to add to my collection on TpT. My sixers LOVE these kinds of activities and last year's group couldn't get enough of them. You can access all my mystery pictures HERE or by looking through my Pinterest board.
