LISTENING: It is peaceful and oh so quiet. All I can hear are the computer and clock... no growling, hissing, or spitting from my fur babies, no TV, no outside traffic... BLISS!
LOVING: It is raining! YEA! It is not icing; it is not snowing; it is not sleeting! The temps are ABOVE freezing, WAY above zero! HALLELUJAH!
THINKING: My bloggy friend Rachel from The Classroom Game Nook is expecting a baby and will be taking some time away from blogging. I am VERY excited to be one of her guest bloggers during her absence so I am working on my post. I'm hoping to finish it up by this coming Monday evening. I'm blogging about my favorite go-to game, ZAP!, and will have a special freebie to offer:)
WANTING: My friend Emily recently had a stroke. She has been hospitalized for about a month and could not have visitors at first. Now that she is in the rehab hospital she is allowed visitors. I've been wanting to visit her; however, the weather has kept me really close to home. I do NOT go out unless I have to! I think after school on Monday I'll take the drive out to see her. I'd better go then or the bad weather (yes, predicted for Wednesday and Thursday) will keep me home again.
NEEDING: Must do my taxes! That's all!
TRUTH/LIE: I HAVE lived in my house for 51 years. I HAVE been the sixth grade teacher at my school for 33 years. However, I am NOT a vegetarian... far from it! Give me a juicy hamburger and I am in heaven!
A third truth... a SUPER truth... I am throwing a SUPER 20% Off Sale this weekend in my TpT Store in honor of that SUPER football game being held on Sunday... take a break from the partying and game to do a little shopping on TpT. Just click HERE or on the graphic below to be taken to my store where you'll SCORE some SUPER savings!
Something else begins today: a TERRIFIC giveaway hosted by my bloggy friends Jessica from Joy in the Journey and Rosie from Rosie's Rambles. Jessica and Rosie are both celebrating blogging milestones in a BIG way!
Happy February,
Happy Teaching,

You must live close to me! It sounds like we've been having/are having/will be having the exact same weather! I'm so sorry about your friend; I'm so glad you'll be getting to see her soon!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the temp. It's so nice to be above freezing! I wish your friend well as she recovers.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so sorry about your friend. I will send good vibes for quick and complete healing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding me that I should probably do my taxes. This is my least favorite thing to do, but I could definitely use that return right about now!
