What a great week this was! Sure hope yours was wonderful, too! Don't forget to link up your Five for Friday with Doodle Bugs Teaching.
And because I had such a GREAT week, I am linking up with my dear bloggy friend Jessica of Joy in the Journey for her new weekly linky called Fuel Your Faith, a perfect way to help me remember where my gratitude needs to be centered.
I am so impressed with your video! I am doing good to get pictures posted for my Five! Awesome! Your blog looks great as well. Just found you on Doodlebugs, and wanted to visit! Have a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog, Leslie! Thank you, too, for your kind words! The video is a simple product to put together. I use a small freeware program offered by Microsoft called Photostory 3. Once you install it, you simply import pictures just as you do into PowerPoint or Word, type in captions, and click a button to make the video. You can also add sound and some special effects... easy, peasy.... and FUN! I have my sixth graders use this program to create videos for school projects.

I love what you shared in the "Fuel your Faith"! I sometimes get so caught up in the "nitty-gritty" of life that I don't take the time to thank God for it ALL! Thanks for the little reminder today!

Crafting Connections
You are very welcome, dear bloggy friend! I have to constantly remind myself that everything is a gift from God, even those things that I don't like, ESPECIALLY those things that I don't like. All is designed as a way for us to grow.

I meant to comment yesterday on how much I love your new design :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was so much fun working with Megan and I'm so pleased with the cheery look! It's got to be much more pleasant visiting my blog now than with the old, dull look!

Hi Angela! Great post :)
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your new blog design - it is tooooo cute! Meghan did a phenomenal job!
Secondly, awesome video - what a fun way to recap your week!
Lastly, thanks for linking up that great verse - it's our class verse and one of my all-time favorites that I need to be reminded of often. It's so easy to get caught up in the busy-ness of life that we forget what our true purpose is and Who it is that we're doing it all for. Thanks for the words of wisdom, my dear friend :)

Joy in the Journey
p.s. Glad to hear your furry friends are finally getting along :)
I LOVE it that the verse I chose this week is your class verse! It is one of my favorites and such an important one for my prayer life. I had gotten into a rut with prayer always seeming to ask God for something. Now I try to make myself aware during the day at random moments to just say, "Thank you, Lord!" especially on those days when things aren't going so well. That's why I'm really loving your new linky. It's another way to help me keep the Lord in focus.
DeleteThis week was such a nice week, so many positive things going on that I couldn't help but being grateful!
Have a wonderful weekend, sweet bloggy friend! I hope you still have a little more time to share with your mom before she returns home.

LOVE your new blog design! SUPER ADORABLE! I also love your Fuel for Friday verse. Being grateful for all things can often be difficult on those tough days, but what a great verse to remind us other wise. I try to start all my prayers with what I am grateful for that day or moment before asking for more gifts.

Thank you for the kind words about my new blog design, Jess! I'm so tickled with what Megan came up with and she did it so quickly! I am trying so hard to remember to start my prayer with a thank you. Your example gives me strength to try harder. I have so many gifts that I really need to stop asking for more... the Lord knows what I need, why do I have to ask, right?
