Mind-Boggling Mark Down Monday 2.1.16

I can hardly believe that January is over! Where does the time go? It just boggles my mind.  If you and your students are mind-boggled over time passing so quickly, why not slow down a bit, have a little fun, and practice a little word work by playing a game of boggle! Simply download this game board and project it for your students to play.

Not sure how to play Boggle? Click HERE for the original game rules.

It also wouldn't be Monday without a little markdown fun. Markdown Monday is a fun little linky hosted by Kelly and Kim's Kindergarten Kreations. Participants select one of their Teachers Pay Teachers products and mark it down so you the buyer can earn substantial savings.  You must act quickly though because the mark down is only good through this coming Friday!

This week, in honor of Catholic Schools Week, I am marking down my

#WIDN Catholic School Year Happenings

#WIDN Catholic School Year Happenings is patterned after popular blog activities wherein the author of a blog completes particular prompts (generally in progressive participle form) and shares the responses with fellow readers and #widn (what I’m doing now) on Instagram. Using #WIDN Catholic School Year Happenings in a classroom helps the members get to know each other better while practicing writing skills. #WIDN Catholic School Year Happenings can be used as a brainstorming activity for more well-developed compositions or simply as an activity unto itself. It’s up to you!

Featuring religious clip art, themes, and topics, this set of #WIDN Catholic School Year Happenings pages is designed with the Catholic School classroom and student in mind. The seven prompts per page are coordinated with liturgical seasons and feasts. The last prompt is always “PRAYING”.

There are two versions of each of the fifteen #WIDN Catholic School Year Happenings pages, one with colorful clip art and one with black and white.

The colored page is meant to be projected on an interactive whiteboard while the black and white is meant to be photo-copied for distribution to your students. You can read more about this fun, engaging activity HERE.

On Friday, Feb. 5, #WIDN Catholic School Year Happenings returns to its regular price!

Be sure to check out all the other Markdown products over at Kelly and Kim's Kindergarten Kreations. There are always terrific deals to be found each Monday!
