Do you make Christmas ornaments with your students?
We have an annual tree lighting ceremony each year the first Friday in December. Each year we select a theme for our tree (this year it is angels) and every student K-6 makes an ornament to fit the theme. Here are my sixers' angels that will be hung on our tree later this week. They still need a little glitterizing!
I'm linking up my post with Miss DeCarbo for her wonderful Wordless Wednesday linky party. Be sure to stop by her blog to see more great photos from teacher bloggers.
What a fun tradition! The angels are adorable :)
ReplyDeleteSuper cute idea!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute angels. Sounds like a super fun tradition. We do make ornaments as a gift for the parents. It is usually a hand print snow family.

Angela, thanks for the book (it arrived in the mail today). I'm so excited to read it.
ReplyDeleteYour angle ornaments are beautiful. I started a tradition where my students each make their own homemade ornament, and then right before Christmas break my students will draw a name of a fellow to student to give their ornament to. Last year my students blew me away with their creativity and each ornament was a true reflection of the student who made it.
