1. I can not live without my newest Must Have: whiteboard crayons. LOVE them! They have NO odor and do NOT smear or rub off when a student accidentally brushes against the board.
2. I Must Have my post-it notes in ALL sizes and colors. I use them for EVERYTHING, from notes to grading slips, from crafts to learning tools. My co-workers call me the queen of post-it's.
3. I Must Have index cards. Again I use them for EVERYTHING, from notes to assessment tools, from response booklets to YOU NAME IT!
I'm going to enjoy reading all the other Must Have's posted at this linky! I'm looking for some NEW Must Have's for next year!
Happy Teaching,

LOL, Sabra! I've got the next few Mondays all planned out.... I told you I have a LOT of them! Seriously, I'm LOVIN' this linky. You are so clever to have come up with it. I'm happy that I found it, and more importatnly your blog, at Jessica's Joy in the Journey.
DeleteAs far as those crayons... they are a bit more maintenance than regular dry erase markers. You can use an eraser but it requires a LOT of elbow grease. I just use a spray cleaner like Windex (I use the dollar store buck a bottle brand) and paper towels. Well, I don't use them, my kiddos use them:)
Thanks for stopping by and following my blog!

Never heard of those crayons! Must find those!

Hi, Elizabeth! Glad you stopped by! I got my crayons at good old WalMart. There are several different brands and sets of colors. I have discovered one drawback the past two days. It has been sooooo stinking hot here that the crayons have gotten soft. Now they are hard to write with. My sixers are getting a kick out of my dilemma.
DeleteHave a great day,
Angela
The Post-it pic is hysterical. I bet my students would say that looks like me. ;)

Don't you just love that pic? I laughed and laughed when I saw it. I've got one desk drawer devoted to nothing but post-it's?
DeleteHave you seen these?

I found your blog through Sabra's linky. Like she said, I am making a list of things I would love for my future classroom. However, I have the post-it notes on lock down. I always am buying more for all the great uses they have - in and out of the classroom.
ReplyDeleteI am also your newest follower! :)

DeleteNow, about those post-it's... I'm thinking we all might need to have a contest to see who deserves the trophy for most... LOL!
I agree with all of your must haves! They're wonderful! Especially those crayons!
